SMS Disclosure & Consent

What AiVoiceBay sends, why, and how to opt out

Last updated: August 2026 | Effective Date: May 8, 2026

The short version: A business invited you to take calls from their AI receptionist. AiVoiceBay is texting you a 6-digit code to make sure (1) it's really your phone, and (2) you're okay with the business forwarding calls to it. Reply STOP to that message any time to opt out. Standard message and data rates may apply.

When you will receive an SMS from us

AiVoiceBay only sends you text messages when a business that uses our AI phone receptionist has invited you to take their forwarded calls. The most common reason you would hear from us:

  • Phone verification. When the business adds your number to their team, we send you a one-time 6-digit code so we can confirm you actually own the phone before any calls get forwarded to it.
  • Re-verification. If your number is later re-assigned to a team, the previous verification is cleared and we send a new code.

We do not send marketing messages or promotional offers. Our texts are transactional only: verification codes confirming you own your phone number.

Use case: account verification (2FA / phone ownership confirmation).

Who is sending the messages

Text messages come from AiVoiceBay, the AI phone receptionist platform. Verification codes are delivered through our messaging provider, so the number they arrive from can vary and may not match our main business line (+1 (650) 800-6005). Every legitimate message identifies AiVoiceBay by name in the text itself. We will never ask you to send us a code, so treat any message that does as suspicious no matter what number it came from.

AiVoiceBay is a product of Meal Market Technologies, Corp, a Delaware corporation. Mailing address:

What you are consenting to

When you enter the 6-digit code you received via SMS into the AiVoiceBay invite-acceptance page, you are doing two things at once:

  • Confirming phone ownership. You are telling us that you control this phone number and can receive messages on it.
  • Authorizing the business to forward calls to you. You are giving the business that invited you permission to route their AI receptionist's call-forwarding to your number when they choose.

We keep a record of the consent step: a cryptographic fingerprint of the exact disclosure that was shown, and its version number. If you want your number removed from a team, contact the business that invited you, or reach us through our contact page.

What the opt-in looks like in the app

The consent step happens inside the AiVoiceBay app, behind each business's login, so we publish it here in full. These screenshots show the exact flow a team member completes before any verification text is sent:

AiVoiceBay onboarding screen prompting the team member to add their own phone number
1. The team member starts the add-phone step from their own logged-in account.
Add your forwarding phone dialog showing the full SMS consent disclosure with the phone number entered and the consent checkbox unchecked by default
2. The full consent disclosure is shown. The box is never pre-checked, and the button stays active either way, so agreeing is the member's own choice. If they send without checking it, we show an error and no text goes out.
The same dialog after the member actively checked the consent checkbox, with their phone number entered
3. The member types their own number and checks the box themselves. Only then do we send the one-time verification code.

Nothing is pre-checked, and no message is sent until the member takes both actions themselves. Screenshots current as of August 2026 and match the consent language above.

What our verification messages look like

A typical verification message from AiVoiceBay looks like this:

Your AiVoiceBay verification code is 123456. This code expires in 10 minutes. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply.

The 6-digit code is single-use and expires after 10 minutes. We never ask you to share the code with anyone, and AiVoiceBay staff will never ask you to read it back over the phone or chat.

Message frequency and rates

Frequency: typically one verification message when your number is added to a team, plus another if you request a new code or your number is later re-assigned. Most team members receive one or two messages from us, ever.

Carrier costs: Standard message and data rates may apply. AiVoiceBay does not charge you for receiving these messages, but your carrier's rate plan controls. Most US plans include unlimited SMS, but check with your carrier if you are unsure.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP directly to the message you received from us. We will send one final confirmation, then stop texting you completely.

Reply HELP to any message from us. We will text back our contact info and a link to this page.

Reply START in the same conversation at any time if you previously opted out and want to opt back in.

Reply in the same conversation. Because the number your code arrives from can vary, sending STOP, HELP, or START to a different number will not reach the right place.

Heads up if you opt out: you will not be able to receive verification codes from us until you reply START. If the business that invited you still needs to add you to their team, they will not be able to finish until you opt back in.

Privacy and data

We collect and store the minimum information needed to verify your number and prove consent: your phone number, the verification timestamp, the consent language and version that was shown, and technical details of the session in which the consent step was completed (such as IP address and browser information).

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent information with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your data. The full details of how we collect, use, store, and let you delete your information are in our Privacy Policy, and the messaging program terms are in our Terms of Service.
